Ever Had An Accident On A Scooter?

When I was a bright-eyed university student I owned a scooter; I owned a scooter mainly because it was cheaper to run that a car and from an early age I knew cycling around the mean streets of London wasn’t for me.

One day while riding home I got taken out by a tart in a red Volvo who was too busy yelling at her kids and messing around with her hair to notice me when she made a left turn and guess what - she hit me side on sending me flying into the gutters. She stopped and began yelled at me while I lay there, cartoon birds tweeting around my head. Back then I thought ’shit happens’ and proceeded to worry about my recovery; however although I was more than insured on my scooter insurance, I still had the issue of not being able to work for 8 weeks.
